Kids Self-portrait Exhibition

Hello there! There has been a long time since the last exhibition, so what do you say, should we have one again?!
The Self-portrait Exhibition is open for all children, with a little help from their parents.

What does your face look like? What color hair do you have? What color eyes? Is you mouth big or small? Have a look at yourself in the mirror. Use a round background, for example a paper plate, and make a self-portrait of your face as a collage. Paint cut and glue as much as you like. Take a picture of the self-portrait on a white background.
Send the picture in to lilla.a.design(at)gmail.com.

To enter:
1. Photo of the self-portrait on a white background
2. Name and age of participant, blog adress (optional).

Deadline for entries will be March 11th.

Opening of the exhibiton will be March 17st, here at lilla a. We hope to see both old and new participants! I am looking forward to Your contributions. Have fun!

Porslinsskålar

Mommo hade födelsedag, och A dekorerade dessa fina skålar till henne. Vi använde dekorfolie precis som med kopparna vi gjorde innan jul. jag vet, bildkvaliteten är dålig, men så är det när man tar bilder en kväll i februari.

A's grandmother got these fro her birthday. We made them the same way as these cups we did before Christmas. The quality of the pictures is bad, I know, but that is taking pictures in the evening in February.

Målade cirkusfigurer

Cirkusartister! Vi har cirkusdirektören, clownen, tigern, elefanten, cirkusprinsessan och hennes häst. Svarvade trähandtag hittade i en låda i källaren, målade med akrylfärg och med detaljer i filt som limmats på med trälim. Samarbete mellan A och mig.

Circus artists! We got the manager, the clown, tiger, elephant, the circus princes and her horse. Wooden cones painted and with felt details. A collaboration between A and me.

Två Stinkyfigurer

A pärlade en farlig Stinky till kusinen som fyllde 11 år, och först måste man rita av honom så man vet hur han ser ut.

Contributor for La Petit Magazine!

Jag fick en förfrågan från Rachelle om jag ville göra en DIY till La Petit Magazine, och det ville jag! Fina La Petit Magazine nr. 3 är ute nu och ni kan hitta vårt bidrag, A Petit Throwing Game här! Jag är stolt över att få vara med, tack Rachelle! Jag ville göra något roligt, och enkelt att alla kan göra det, och gjorde detta spel, baserat på en av A's ritningar. Varsågoda.

I got asked by Rachelle if I could do a DIY for La Petit Magazine, and ofcourse I said yes! Great looking La Petit Magazine issue no 3 is out now and you can find our contribution, A Petit Throwing Game here. I am proud to be a part of it, thanks Rachelle! I wanted to make something fun and easy for anybody to make aswell, and came up with this game based on one of A's drawings. Enjoy!

Fågelmat

Vi gjorde egna talgbollar till småfåglarna, av kokosfett och fröblandning. Smälte fettet, blandade i fröna och hällde upp det i rena sandkaka-formar, tryckte ned ett snöre för upphängning och lät det stelna. Vi hängde upp dem i trädet utanför barnens fönster, och nu väntar vi på att fåglarna ska komma och äta.

We made bird-feeders from coconut fat and bird sead mixture. Melted the fat and mixed the seads and poured it into clean sand pit moulds, put in a cord and let it get hard. We hung them outside the kids window and now we wait for the birds to come as dinner is served.
